From a discarded white resale find to a deeply layered work of art, this piece embodies the spirit of slow fashion. Hand-dyed in my studio to a rich, dimensional indigo, the shirt was completely disassembled to ensure the design flow was seamless.The all-over patterning is an homage to traditional Japanese Sashiko embroidery, creating a rhythmic, textured surface. As with all hand-dyed garments, the indigo offers a living color that is deep, varied, and uniquely yours.
